Taking the raw energy of flames and sparking creativity, FIRE ignites the idea that opposites attract. Each element is paradoxically complementary, co-existing in a space designed to flaunt its contrasts. Center-stage is the wood fire parilla, where skilled chefs play with age-old techniques to reinvent modern flavors with an anything-goes vibe.


The subversive attraction of opposites gives FIRE its provocative flair. It's the scene where flame-grilled food, artful mixology and inventive talent converge. Never too serious and with an upfront attitude, its hypnotic draw burns brightly, throughout the day, and long into the night.

The venue

Fueling the counterculture that FIRE dares to own, the open-kitchen setting is a contradiction in itself. Granite and charred wood detailing style-it-out alongside a bold palette of amber red, green and orange accents that mirror all things Barcelona presents, Limitless view from the vast glass wall bring outside in, connecting Barcelona's vibrant scene with the magnetic draw of the Mediterranio.

Plucked from the earth's elements, FIRE's menu turns simplicity on its head where meat, fish and vegetables get bold and brazen. Ultra-seasonal, organic and foraged ingredients are combined with the unpredictable nature of fire to create and adventurous fusion of unexpected flavors.

With more than 6 years of experience working on the stoves of the best restaurants around the globe, the Italian chef from Cassino, a small town between Rome and Naples, was the winner of 2016's Hell's Kitchen Italy. After growing as a professional cook throughout the past years, Carlotta has now assumed the responsibility of creating such an important concept as FIRE, the new main restaurant of W Barcelona.


"Being a woman as a chef in charge of such a relevant project is a challenge. The role of women in the kitchen has been well marked by the figures of great men chefs, that historically led this industry. Fortunately, we are starting to receive recognition and visibility in the gastronomic world and I feel very proud to be part of this project", Carlotta Delicato.
